| Hey kiddies! WOW! Have not put anything new up in FOREVER! Sorry 'bout that.  Well, let's see... yeah, had a tournament last Tuesday. I shot a 94?95?..can't remember......BUT I GOT CLOSEST TO THE PIN!!!!!!!!!! My first time to EVER win anything like that. So I got a tan and orange Titleist visor and a pretty golf themed picture frame. Leigh and I came in third as a team. We have done really, really well this year! Well, I spent the night at Kelsey's house on Friday after the football game, which was fun. Katie spent the night, too. Mr. Brett (my dad's friend from North Carolina) came in this weekend, so he stayed with us. On Saturday, my mom took me shopping to Plato's Closet (a very cool store  ) and I got a new, supercute cranberry toile skirt, a Tommy jean jacket, and this cool, light,flowery, Chinese looking shirt at TJ's. MMMMMM......that night my mom fixed twice baked potatoes and my dad cooked steak filets........SOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!! Sunday was really fun, too. My mom and I stayed home and watched an Audrey Hepburn movie marathon on TV. Don't ask me why, but I'm very proud to say that I watched these movies......idk, I'm a freak I guess  , lol. But first we watched about half of "Breakfast at Tiffany's", then "Roman Holiday" which had Gregory Peck (quite the hottie, he has an awesome, deep voice) aka Atticus Finch (he was younger in this movie, lol). Lastly, we got to see a little of "My Fair Lady", but I had to go into work, and when I got home, it was still on! Well, while at home, my mom (l love her so very much  ) did my fingernails and toenails, put my hair up really neat, and did my makeup for me. Then, I went to work (not my normal day, but they asked if I could come and said they'd pay me five extra dollars, so I made $15 dollars for doing the same thing I always do......actually, less than I normally do, 'cause there were four people helping.) And then we went out to eat with our company to Coconut Bay Cafe (we wanted to go to Buffalo's, but it was PACKED FULL!) So we ate ( I had potato skins, which were good, and coconut shrimp, which wasn't very good, b/c I have discovered that no matter what, coconut just smells like sun tan lotion, and a YUMMY strawberry daquiri (virgin, of course ) and watched the Titans' game. On Monday, I had a match at Indian Hills, so I got out of school for half a day. I shot a 93........2 triple-pars (yuck!), 5 double-pars (ditto), 5 bogies (okay), and 6 pars (YAY!) Anyways, Leigh and I won. I made a really long putt, which I hardly took my time on, on 18 for bogey. Then I waited around for a while, then Paul Swift took me home, and we stopped at Taco Bell (he paid for my dinner :) wasn't that nice?) We had a nice conversation on the way home about food/restaurants and shopping. Had to leave school early AGAIN today, b/c I had an ortho appointment. He says next appointment, I can prolly get my top braces off!!!!! YAY!!! He said five weeks would be good, which will be about this time in October......but ya know what???? THEY DON'T HAVE AN OPENING UNTIL NOVEMBER 5TH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! STUPID PEOPLE!!!!!!!! J/K Well, my Alias DVDs came today, so I am excited, but grrrrrr.....my lil sis is watching tv right now, so I have to wait 'cause I wanna watch them on the big screen. Anyways, I'd better go...I got bumloads of homework, courtesy of my teachers/missing school for golf. Ttyl skillets! Holla! | | |
| Hey guys! Sorry I haven't posted in a while (I know u missed me, admitting is the first step). Well, on Thursday, I had a golf match and had to leave school early. We ate at Mickey D's! Yum. French fries and apple pie. No girls showed up at the match, so Leigh and I played a practice round by ourselves. Finally we got to play together! We should more often, b/c I SHOT AN 88!!! My lowest round ever! And Leigh shot a 70! Her second lowest round ever! Yay!!! Snaps for us! Then after I got home, I went to the MTSU football game and hung out with Katie and Meredith and Zack and John and Greg. It was pretty fun. I didn't get to stay the whole game, and MTSU lost on the last stinkin' play! UGH! On Friday, I went out to dinner at McCallister's with Katie and Meredith and Kelsey. It was soooooo good. I had broccoli cheese soup in a bread bowl. *YUMMY* Then we went to the Oakland game. It was sooooo much fun! We walked around and saw our friends and hung out with Ryan!!! Yay! LOL. We danced to "Cotton-eyed Joe" and sang "L-O-V-E". HEHEHE! After the game was over, Katie and I went to spend the night at Kelsey's house. We watched late night tv and saw ASHTON KUTCHER on Leno!!!!! *So hot! Except for the whole dating-Demi Moore-who-is-15-years-older-than-him thing* We talked for a long time that night, and had French, I mean Freedom, toast and bacon for breakfast! Again, Yummy! On Saturday, I spent the day at home mostly. I helped pick up sticks in the yard so my mom could mow, and I helped put away the groceries. Most of my day, though, was spent playing the "Escape from Monkey Island" video game, lol. I watched some of the MTV VMA's, too. I talked to John that night, and before that, I went to my grandma's house for a Labor Day dinner with my family (my aunt and uncle from Seattle have come into town for the weekend). I'm going to spend the night at Katie's house tonight, and hopefully I'll go trade in the video game I won at my last golf tourney and hang up my mesh canopy for my bed. | Hi y'all! What's goin on? We had yet ANOTHER golf tournament today. We girls came in fourth place, but we didn't get anything for it. I shot a 94, which is ok, but I should have made more of my putts and chipped better....and my drives kinda sucked most of the day, but anywayz. Leigh got 4th place individually, so she got a trophy, a box of balls, a $25 gift certificate for SouthWest Airlines, and a chair you use at football games. And Phillip Pettit won first in the boys with a 67!!!!!! Five under par!!!!!!!! And he won longest drive with a 350 yard drive!!! And I won something, too!!!!! An XBox video game (which I will trade in for a PS2 game) as a draw prize!!! I NEVER win draw prizes!!! Anywayz, that was pretty much my day. Alex Ingle drove me home . Lol. I had a student council meeting tonight, too. It was pretty short and non-eventful, but I got to see some of my friends (LAURA!!!!!! lol. and the EMILYs!!!) Lol, well I gotst me some icky English homework, and a French dialogue to plan, so I'll talk to y'all lata! Holla! (LOL)

| Hey guys! IT'S FRIDAY!!!!!!!! Woo hoo!!! SOOOOOO glad! Well, I;m going to the Revelation/The Action Figure concert at Sports Com tonight with John and Greg. It should be fun. I am tired! Too much work, not enough sleep! (I KNOW u guys feel me on that one!) I will not be at school Monday......another golf tournament. Wow, there was about to be a smackdown in my drama class.....(well, maybe not a smackdown, but u know what I'm saying.) A few of the..ahem...black people in our class told Robin Overby to come over cause they wanted to talk to her, so she went over there and one of the girls...their "leader"???.....was like, "We don't wanna see no spice Girls. Nobody wants to see no Spice Girls." Now, what they were talking about is the Variety show, in which they are doing Thriller, and Robin and some others are doing the Spice Girls.....it's "30 years of tradition" for Oakland...stupid theme.....anywayz.....So Robin was being calm, but they were like "Uh, no." So I was like...well, it isn't their decision what we do, they can do their thing and Robin and them can do theirs. Ok, y'all, they wanted to replace Spice Girls with a tribut to Aaliyah! NO! I think not! No offense, but if you're, well, white, u probably wouldn't care and would find it boring! So anyway, Robin comes back to her seat and sits down. Me and her and Emily Duke start talking about how stupid that was,, and the "leader" comes over and sits down and asks Emily what she thinks about the Spice Girls thing, so she starts explaining that it is just gonna be a fun little thing and the girl cuts her off! She says, No, u ain't gonna raise ur voice at me!" Emily was not even raising her voice!!!! She was talking like she does when she's explaining something!!! So I said until she could hear me, "She wasn't raising her voice at u!" and the girl tells me "I'm not talking to u, so be quiet." So I said, "Good! Cause I don't wanna talk to u!" After a minute or so she went back to her seat cause the substitute made her. It was so STUPID! That girl was just a selfish, ignorant bully! Ugh...so retarded. | Hey kids! I shared my fave item in English today. It was a diamond ring my grandma gave me that was made from an earring of my great-grandma's. Anywayz, had a match after school. Girls I played with were too slow for my liking, cause I prefer to play at a faster pace. Well, I shot a 42 (it was only a nine hole match). I birdied the first par three. My first shot was only 10 feet from the hole! I also parred the second par 5 and the last par 3. I am quite, satisfied, lol. Moving on, cause I know most of y'all don't care about golf.....Nothing very interesting happened today, except I again got pelted with crackers at lunch (thanks to u, Chase Moss!) I have a stupid pre-cal quiz tomorrow, and I don't understand any of it! Oh, I went to True North with Katie Kimbell and her church last night. It was fun. I got to see Zack and Greg and Meredith. We ate and sang and talked and stuff. And now I am talking to John, and I'm sweaty and smelly from golf, and I've got stupid pre-cal homework (which i STILL do not understand) and French homework.
